Ela Ilham von Schöning

EIVS STUDIO is an independent creative studio developing original screenplays. The studio also writes original lyrics for selected projects and collaborations.

Its screen work spans drama, comedy, adventure and science fiction, from feature films to television and episodic series for younger audiences. Founded by Ela Ilham von Schöning, EIVS STUDIO focuses on character-driven stories, distinctive worlds and emotionally engaging storytelling.

At the heart of every story is the character — their choices, contradictions and relationships shape where the story goes, rather than being forced to follow it.

Ela Ilham von Schöning is a German screenwriter and storyteller with Moroccan heritage. Her creative career began in music, where she signed her first recording deal with EMI Music Italy before later moving into screenwriting.

FROM MUSIC TO SCREEN Ela began her professional recording career with EMI Music Italy and later worked and performed between Europe and New York. Her work expanded from recording artist to songwriter, including original releases, independent projects and collaborations. That musical background eventually became part of her screenwriting language — rhythm, dialogue, voice and emotional timing moving from songs into scenes.

Her work spans feature films and television, from science fiction and drama to comedy and family adventure. Her leading feature screenplay, THE SINGER, has received multiple international festival awards and recognitions.
